Q2: Who, If Anyone, Gets Traded?

Ritter – “It’s possible that if extension talks go any further sideways, Hield could end up getting shipped out in a panic trade. However, it seems more realistic that Sacramento’s big man rotation gets firmed up one way or another via a trade. It also wouldn’t be terribly surprising if Bogdan Bogdanovic ends up being part of a trade package. Although he’s a valuable piece and he is clearly liked in the locker room, the fact remains that Bogdanovic is the Kings’ best trade asset. If someone becomes available that the Kings want, Bogi is going to the best player they can offer without dipping into the Fox/Bagley core.”

Gurjus Singh – “The Kings will most likely look to trade Nemanja Bjelica this season…Sacramento could be looking for more defense and someone that could run the floor more. They will probably also be looking at a younger player that can add to the core, but also be as experienced as Bjelica.”

Zack Kobler – “Nemanja Bjelica or Trevor Ariza. Bjelica lacks the rebounding needed from his position but this may be null and void because of the way Richaun Holmes plays… I wasn’t a fan of the Trevor Ariza signing and I’m still not. Ariza brings the veteran presence in the locker room but he isn’t the same player in that Rockets-Warriors series from two years ago.”
