Ten questions for the Sacramento Kings, answered by our writers.

We asked all of our contributors here at A Royal Pain to submit their answers to ten questions regarding the upcoming Sacramento Kings season.

Thank you to Brenden Nunes, Ryan Ritter, Gurjus Singh, John Kelly, and Zack Kobler for their contributions.

Q1: Who Leads The Team In Scoring?

Brenden Nunes – “Buddy Hield was the leading scorer last season, and while Fox and Bagley are likely to increase their PPG, I think Buddy will repeat as the leader. He still is the best scorer on this team and will have the ultimate green light with Luke Walton and the team attempting to get up as many three-point attempts as possible. There is no one better to be letting it fly from deep.”

Ryan Ritter – “The smart money is probably on Buddy Hield. There’s an excellent chance that putting one of the best shooters in the league in Luke Walton’s offense-minded system could create a big leap in production. He averaged 20.7 points a game last year off of 42.7% 3PT shooting (7.9 attempts). That could easily go up 3 or 4 whole points next season.”

Anthony Cardenas – “The most likely candidate is Buddy Hield, but I’m going off of the beaten path and going with a dark horse this year in Marvin Bagley. The leading scorer on this year’s Kings team will likely need to average 23+ points per game, which would be a huge improvement should Bagley accomplish it. I believe that he’ll average those numbers consistently someday, but my bold prediction is that he’ll make that leap this year.”
