4 Reasons Why The Sacramento Kings Need To Extend Buddy Hield

Reason #3: Buddy Has The Intangibles
I mentioned before it is rare to see NBA players that are happy to be in Sacramento, but Buddy is exactly that. There is a reason why Buddy is in a position to earn a lucrative deal. Yes, he has the skill set to be a great player in the league, but he also has the intangibles.
Since his days with the Oklahoma Sooners, Buddy has been known as an extreme workhorse. He constantly is investing his time in the gym on getting in shape and being the best player he is capable of being.
Based on his production with the Kings, it is obvious to see that Buddy’s hard work is paying off as his shooting continues to get better and his conditioning is top tier. Even after having a great season with the Kings, Buddy is still not satisfied as he is always open to showing the public the hard work he is putting in.
For the Kings, having a guy like Buddy is beneficial on and off the court. Not only is he the ideal option for the starting two-guard spot, but he is a great example within the organization on how a player should work and act when being a professional basketball player.
