Reason #1: Buddy Loves Sacramento & Fans Love Buddy

When Buddy got traded from the New Orleans Pelicans to the Kings, many were on the fence about him. But mainly the suspicion about Buddy came from the Kings giving away their All-Star player in DeMarcus Cousins to get him.

But once Buddy put on that purple and white and stepped onto the Golden 1 Center hardwood, he was immediately revered by the fanbase. Fast forward to now, over two years, and Buddy is still one of the fan favorites for the Kings franchise.

What is there not to love about Buddy? Sure, he has been an asset for the Kings due to his lethal perimeter shooting, but the attitude he has shown both on and off the court towards the organization and their fans have been great. Since being a King, he has loved being part of the franchise and has completely bought into the rebuilding plan that Vlade has in store for the team.

I remembered being sad when DeMarcus got traded because a player of his talents that wanted to help the Kings succeed was a rarity to see. Buddy is not as talented as DeMarcus, but he has been an incredible asset for the team and has plans to stay in Sacramento for the long haul. What else could you want from him?
