Buddy Will Barely Miss Entering The 50/40/90 Club

Every shooter strives for this milestone. To finish the NBA season making at least 50% of their shots from the floor, 40% from the perimeter and 90% from the free-throw line is astounding and only a goal that the elite shooters have achieved in their careers.

I do not think Buddy will be a part of the 50/40/90 club this season, but he will be really close. Last season, Buddy gave a good fight as he made around 46% of his total shots from the court, 42% from the perimeter, and 88% from the charity stripe. I believe he will do better this season as he will make at least 40% of his threes and 90% of his free-throws. However, he will be short of making 50% of his total shots.

With the way the Kings’ offense is projected to run, Buddy is going to get a hefty load of shot attempts in each game he plays. It will be very difficult for Buddy to make 50% from the floor considering the usage he will get throughout the season. So even though he may not join the exclusive club this year, it does not mean his season will be disappointing.
