Buddy Will Be The Kings’ Leading Scorer, Again

Last season, Buddy led the Kings in scoring as he averaged around 21 points a game. Going into this year, I expect him to remain on the top of that category.

The Kings run an offense that has them sprinting the floor and finding guys open for shots from beyond the arc. These two aspects of the game fit perfectly towards Buddy’s skillset. Not only will Buddy thrive based on the Kings’ offensive system, but also based on his track record.

Ever since becoming a member of the Kings, Buddy has shown an encouraging pattern of improvement. Every year his numbers and efficiency increase the more time he spends with the team.

So now that Buddy will begin his third full season with De’Aaron Fox and others, as well as running an offense where the coaches expect the team to launch at least 35 three-pointers a game, expect the former Oklahoma Sooner to have the ultimate green light.

Buddy is going to have the liberty to take any shot and will attempt those shots with confidence. Averaging 25-30 points a game may be farfetched for Buddy right now, but expect him to be the leading scorer for the Kings and to achieve a career-high in points per game in a season.
