Player #3: Harry Giles

Another controversial decision. Harry Giles is a player that has been beloved by the Kings community since he was drafted, but he is still someone that does not currently have a concrete role with the franchise going forward.

I think every Kings fan can agree that seeing Giles reach his potential would take Sacramento’s rebuild to the next level. The man is talented. He has an incredibly versatile skillset for a player his size and a motor on both ends of the floor that is contagious towards his teammates and fans.

Also, Giles has embraced the love of the Kings’ fanatics as he always makes time to show his appreciation towards them whether it is on social media or in person.

If Giles were to be a King for his whole career, that would be the dream. But if Sacramento wants to improve their team, deciding to deal Giles might have to happen. So far, Giles has not been reliable in terms of his health, which has caused his reliability on the court to be suspect as well.

Hopefully, Giles can put his injury woes behind him. With a man of his talents, he could take the Kings from good to great right away. But that cannot become the case if he keeps on getting sidelined due to being hurt.

If the Kings do decide to put Giles on the trading block, there will be a lot offer for him due to his young age and potential to be great.
