Step #1: Have Bogi Play Shooting Guard

Last season, Dave Joerger had Bogdanovic playing a lot of minutes at small forward due to the team being very thin at the position. During the time, Bogi played the three spot without any complaints, and although he was a decent alternative, he definitely did not look comfortable while playing the position.

Bogdan’s pure position in basketball is shooting guard. He played it during his time overseas and recently with the Serbian national team where he was dominant for his country.

The only positive from Bogdan playing the three last year is that it allowed him to gain experience on how to compete with bigger opponents, and now he is a stronger and wiser player for it. But it is simple, the Kings should play Bogi at his natural position so he can see his numbers go up.

The People Want FIBA Bogi

During the FIBA World Cup, Bogi was the subject of talk amongst people. During that span, he put on display his true skills due to being healthy and playing his actual position. The two-year pro was able to rebound, pass, and shoot the lights out of the gym as he averaged around 22 points per game.

With the Kings having more depth at small forward and Bogi entering the year healthy, I expect him to continue playing as he did during the World Cup. Not necessarily the same type of numbers, but rather the same type of efficiency.
