Just seeing these pictures of Sacramento Kings’ Harry Giles is giving me a bruise.

The Sacramento Kings have had a productive offseason. During the time, Vlade Divac and company executed well on constructing their roster for the 2019-20 season by acquiring veteran players that will complement the young talent that is already on the team.

As far as the players on the team, they have benefitted from this summer as well. Not only have they gotten to relax and enjoy their time off, but have still committed themselves to the game of basketball by working on their game.

Someone who seems to have improved this offseason is Harry Giles. Based on his social media platforms, the 21-year old has been constantly in the gym whether it is working on his basketball skills or getting stronger physically.

Not too long ago, Giles posted a photo of himself for his followers to see, and if one is a Kings fan, they will want to see this picture of a much bigger and stronger Harry. I do not think opponents are going to be confident in bullying Harry this time around.

Final Thoughts

It is great to see that Harry has made basketball a priority this summer. In his first two years with the Kings, they have been underwhelming. In his rookie year, he sat out entirely due to recovering from his knee injuries. And in his sophomore season, he showed flashes of his potential here and there but needed to be more consistent.

As Harry enters his third NBA season, he needs to be a reliable asset for the Kings. If Sacramento can get a Harry Giles who can be productive night in and night out, then their chances of breaking their 13-year playoff drought will immensely increase.

Based on Harry’s activity this summer, he is doing his best to be part of the young core that Sacramento plans to build around for years to come.
