Players from the Sacramento Kings have represented the franchise well during their play in the FIBA World Cup. And that trend continued with the latest play of Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Right now, the Sacramento Kings have four players competing in the FIBA World Cup tournament. Those players are Harrison Barnes (USA), Cory Joseph (Canada), Nemanja Bjelica (Serbia), and Bogdan Bogdanovic (Serbia).

Not too long ago, both Bjelica and Bogdanovic had outstanding games in their group match against the Philippines. For Belly, he scored 20 points while he made 100% of his total shots. And for Bogi, he recorded 17 points and five assists.

Serbia Strikes Again

To no surprise, the Serbian team dominated again in their final group game against the Italian national team. For the guys representing Sacramento, Bjelica recorded five points and seven rebounds while Bogdanovic recorded a whopping 31 points and five assists.

There is no doubt that Bogi was the main reason Serbia won the game. No matter where he was on the court, his confidence in scoring the ball was not fazed. In terms of shooting percentages, Bogdan made around 48% of his shots from the floor and 55% of his shots from the three-point line.

Nothing New From Bogi

Watching Bogdan Bogdanovic dominate with the Serbian national team is nothing new. Whether it is from past European tournaments, World Cups, or Summer Olympic games, Bogi seems to be a major asset for his home country when they need him to be.

During this current World Cup, Bogdan continues to put his team on his back and is making a strong case for the best player so far in the tournament. In his first three games, he is averaging around 24 points, three rebounds, four assists.
