Based on the latest news pertaining to the Luke Walton investigation, both the NBA and Sacramento Kings have agreed to close the case.

Not too long after the Sacramento Kings locked in Luke Walton as their new head coach, the news came out that Walton was accused of sexual harassment towards Kelli Tennant back in 2014.

The first incident between Walton and Tennant happened when Walton was the assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, but according to the reports, it carried on while Walton was named the head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers as well.

From the start, Walton has denied the accusations that have been insinuated by Tennant, which has lead to the NBA and Sacramento Kings to start a joint investigation on the issue.

After months of investigation, the conclusion finally is out that there was not enough evidence to support the allegations. Unless new information raises to light, the case is now closed.

Final Thoughts

If new information comes to light proving that Walton is guilty, then Vlade Divac and company should make the ethical decision of terminating him from the head coaching position.

But overall, it is nice to know that this issue has been put to bed at the moment. Since the news came out about Walton being accused, it has been a dark cloud over what has been a great offseason for the Sacramento Kings.
