Negative #3: Starting Heavy On The Road

We now mentioned how much traveling the Kings will face for the upcoming season. Well, that traveling will begin right away. According to the Kings’ regular-season schedule, they will have 18 road games out of their first 29 matches, including three four-game road trips within that span.

The Kings are on a mission to finally break their 13-year playoff drought, and the NBA is not doing them any favors to help them become successful.

Based on how the schedule is listed, the Kings have a lot of obstacles to endure. Not only will most of their opponents be against teams in the tough Western Conference, but now they will have to be on the road a lot to start their year.

It can be very easy for Sacramento to start the season slow based on their schedule, but hopefully, that is not the case. The purple and white did have a tough beginning part of last season and responded well by winning six of their first nine contests.

Maybe they will repeat that same trend this time around?
