Negative #2: Racking Up The Miles

First, the Kings were disrespected for not being in any, but one, nationally-televised games. Now, the NBA has them spending a lot of time up in the air.

Once the NBA 2019-20 schedule released, many started to accumulate the number of miles each team would have to travel during the year. According to multiple reports, the Kings will travel close to 50,000 miles during the season which is the third-highest amongst NBA teams. The only teams ahead of the purple and white are the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns.

The game of basketball is already a tiring sport, and traveling is not a very relaxing activity either. So add both of those together and it can challenge one a lot physically. Especially throughout over six months.

This upcoming season, the Kings will be tested physically. With all the traveling they will do throughout the year, they need to make sure that their preparation for each game is on point so injuries and fatigue do not happen during the later courses of their campaign.
