Negative #1: Lack of Televised Games

After coming off a surprising and entertaining season, the Sacramento Kings seemed like they got more respect from people in the NBA world. But when the latest regular-season schedule came out, that was not the case.

One. That is the total number of nationally-televised games that the Kings will have for the upcoming 2019-20 season. That game will be broadcasted by ESPN in the middle of March when the purple and white play against the New Orleans Pelicans.

To compare the Kings to their counterparts, teams like the Memphis Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks, and Oklahoma City Thunder received more games that will be shown on national television.

In the past, it was a rarity for the Kings to be broadcasted on national television, but the franchise and fans expected this year to be different because of the promise the team showed last season.

Hopefully, the purple and white are not discouraged by this and instead use it as fuel for the campaign. They got snubbed this year, so play to make sure the NBA does not make the same mistake again.
