Bogdan Bogdanovic

Serbia is a favorite to win the 2019 FIBA World Cup, and one of their most important players is third-year Sacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Bogdanovic looked almost unstoppable in Serbia’s win over the Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Greece team on Sunday, leading his team with 28 points. Bogi stepped up big time in the absence of Nikola Jokic who did not play in the exhibition game.

The great showing by Bogdanovic is certainly encouraging news for Kings fans. After disappointing showings from Harrison Barnes and De’Aaron Fox in their first exhibition game last week, Sacramento’s 6th man was able to put up big numbers against the tournament’s best player and NBA MVP.

The solid play of Bogdan Bogdanovic is promising news for Sacramento’s second unit, as is the play of his Serbian teammate and fellow Kings’ second unit member.
