With the Sacramento Kings being represented well with Team USA, they are also making a good impression overseas as well.

This last month, the Sacramento Kings have represented themselves well on the basketball court. For the USA team, three players in Marvin Bagley III, Harrison Barnes, and De’Aaron Fox were all invited to the program’s training camp for the World Cup, and all were able to make the 15-man roster.

But they are not the only Kings that have been lighting it up for their country. Another guy who is playing well is Bogdan Bogdanovic as he will be representing Serbia in the upcoming FIBA World Cup.

In a recent contest that Serbia had against Lithuania, Bogi went off and played a key part in Serbia’s victory. Serbia won the game by a score of 95-91 and Bogi finished the night with a whopping 27 points.

Final Thoughts

Based on the highlights, Bogdan looked dialed in which is a good sign for the Kings and their fans. This past season, Bogdanovic had a so-so sophomore season after having a promising rookie year. But some reasons that could have contributed to his off year were injuries and playing out of his natural position.

For Bogdan, a rebound year is necessary. The Kings are on a mission to finally break their 13-year postseason drought, and for them to achieve that goal, they need their top players to have solid campaigns.

Even though Bogi will likely start games on the bench, he will play a key part in how the Kings perform this season due to his skill set and versatility. Hopefully, the production he is providing for Serbia will be the same when he comes back to Sacramento.
