During his time with Team USA, Sacramento Kings’ guard De’Aaron Fox showcased a variety of dunks during his time off. Is he worthy of making the NBA Slam Dunk contest?
The Sacramento Kings are making their organization and fans proud during Team USA’s training camp. Going into camp, Harrison Barnes was the only King that seemed to have a chance to make the USA’s final roster for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
But in only the first couple of days of training, both De’Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley III emerged themselves as serious candidates to not only join USA’s first team but to make the actual World Cup roster.
Fox Got Hops
Although the Kings’ young duo have been outstanding during camp, De’Aaron Fox has been the one that is exciting people in the NBA world. And yesterday, he was successful again in impressing the media.
During yesterday’s practice in Las Vegas, De’Aaron spent some time displaying some trick dunks that impressed the NBA world. To see the two dunks that Fox attempted yesterday, check the video down below.
Is Fox Dunk-Contest Worthy?
Heck yes. There is no doubt that De’Aaron Fox should be a serious candidate to participate in next year’s NBA Dunk Contest. Not only did he show his potential in the video above, but he has shown it since the start of his NBA career.
If Fox does get the chance to be in the dunk contest, there is no doubt he would put on a show.
Final Thoughts
De’Aaron Fox has had himself a summer. It started with him representing himself well when he was present in television shows like Undisputed, The Colin Cowherd Show, and the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
Now, Fox is making noise on the basketball court as he is making his presence known at Team USA’s training camp.
Hopefully, when the 2019-20 season comes along, Fox continues to impress on and off the court and makes his franchise and fans even prouder than they are.
