Now that the Sacramento Kings have released their preseason schedule, the public now knows when they will be playing their games in India.

The Sacramento Kings’ preseason schedule is now available for the public to see as the organization released the information recently.

When analyzing the schedule, the purple and white will be playing five games before beginning their 2019-20 campaign, but the games that stand out the most in the schedule are when the Kings pack their bags to play in India.

According to the schedule, the India festivities will begin on October 4th when the Kings play against the Indiana Pacers in the NCSI Dome located in Mumbai. The Kings and Pacers will then play another game on October 5th in the same location and facility.

Why Playing In India Is Special

For the Kings, playing in India is a significant milestone for the franchise. With Vivek Ranadive, Kings’ majority owner, being born and raised in India, these upcoming games must have a special place in his heart as his team gets to have a little glimpse of his hometown.

Final Thoughts

This upcoming season is an exciting one for the young Sacramento Kings, and it will start with a bang as they play their first games in India.

For the Kings, this year is an important one. With the team making great strides last season, finishing with a record of 39-43, the ultimate goal for this campaign is to make the playoffs.

Anything less than a playoff berth this season would be considered a bust for the purple and white.
