Player #3: Harry Giles

Probably the player that Sacramento Kings fans want the most to have a breakout year. After sitting out his entire rookie season due to recovering from his knee injuries, Harry Giles had a so-so “sophomore” year as he averaged around seven points, four rebounds, and two assists per contest. He also made around 50% of his shots from the court and 64% from the free-throw line.

Although Giles did not have the best first season with the Kings, he was able to showcase his potential from time to time which got Kings fans excited for what the future holds. An example was when the Kings played against the Chicago Bulls in which Giles was a force on both ends of the court.

If Giles can become a more consistent player, there is no doubt he will help accelerate the rebuilding process for the Kings. When watching Giles operate on the court, he has all the tools to be an elite big man in the league. He just needs time to get adjusted to the physical aspects of the game.

When that time comes, the Kings will become a dangerous force. And who knows? Maybe that time will happen sometime this upcoming season?

Cross your fingers, Kings fans.
