After being waived by the Sacramento Kings, Frank Mason III will start a new chapter in his NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks, as he and the organization have agreed on a two-way contract for the upcoming season.
Did Sacramento Make The Right Choice?
Earlier this month, the Sacramento Kings made the decision to let go of Frank Mason III due to cleaning up their depth chart. After signing Cory Joseph in free agency, the Kings had a total of four point guards on their team and needed to release either Mason or Yogi Ferrell.
With the decision to waive Mason, it definitely makes the Kings a deeper team. Last season, Ferrell was the better player of the two due to his ability to run the floor fast and provide scoring spurts at times throughout the season.

The Kings Will Miss Frank
Although Frank Mason did not play a big role in the Kings’ success last year, he was a well-liked guy in the community. An example to prove this notion was when the news came out that Mason would not be a King anymore, Kings fans took to social media to express themselves.

Sad day to see the Commisioner of the Litty Committee leave... Frank was such a big part of this team on and off the court. P.s. Frank deserves a ring when the Kings get one 😉 https://t.co/Cn5dDQeHgA

What The Kings Will Miss About Frank?
For the past two seasons, Frank provided the Kings with point guard depth as he could facilitate the offense and score on his own. Although he was undersized, he displayed grit and grind on both ends of the floor that was inspiring towards his teammates and fans. He also was the leader of the famous Litty Committee which excited both the Kings community before tipoff.
I wish you nothing but the best, Frank! Good luck on your next journey with the Bucks!
