6 Stages To Building A Dynasty

It does not matter now if you thought Joerger earned a shot to coach one more year. Luke Walton is Divac’s choice and the pair are tied at the hip. As you look at the statistics from both Walton and Joerger, both coaches have similar results in their last few seasons. It comes down to who does Vlade has faith in to deliver the Kings into the next stage?

Stage one is changing the culture, which the Kings did when they officially traded DeMarcus Cousins in 2017. Stage two is having a winning record which the Kings have not achieved yet. Stage three is making the playoffs, the box is still unchecked for this one too. Stage four is making it to the NBA Finals, stage five wins a championship, and stage six is winning multiple championships. All this equals the dynasty that every basketball franchise strives to obtain.

Four Years To Make It Happen

Vlade Divac and Luke Walton have four years to make the Kings’ rebuild a success. Plain and simple, if the Kings can improve their defense and come up with a system that enhances every one of their players’ skills, then the Kings can keep climbing up the ladder of stages that I mentioned above.

Good luck to Luke Walton as next season for the Kings will be huge on whether they can be a championship team or not in the next few years.
