#8 Seed: San Antonio Spurs

The team has no star players, but I expect to see the San Antonio Spurs make the playoffs again.

Even though the Spurs have the weakest roster amongst my list, they still have solid players like LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan, and Rudy Gay that will lead the team next season. They will also be getting back young players like Lonnie Walker and Dejounte Murray who are expected to have promising seasons.

Also, the Spurs have arguably one of the best head coaches in basketball history in Gregg Popovich who is known for coaching his players to perform at their potential and beyond.

The dominance that the Spurs have had in the NBA may be gone, but I still think they are a tough team to beat and will barely make the playoffs next season. The team has been in the playoffs for the last twenty-plus years, and for good reason.
