#4 Seed: Houston Rockets
In the 2017-18 season, the Houston Rockets were one game away from competing for an NBA championship. They hoped they would get a second chance in their 2018-19 campaign, but it ended up in disappointing fashion as they lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games during the Western Conference Semifinals.
In a final attempt for a championship, the Rockets pretty much kept their roster intact, but went out to trade for Russell Westbrook and gave up Chris Paul and draft picks in return.
The Rockets will likely make the playoffs this upcoming year, but where they will be placed in the seedings will depend on how well the new tandem of James Harden and Russell Westbrook perform together.
With two players that have gained a reputation of being ball-dominant players, it will be a challenge at first when they are on the court. But if it becomes successful, it gives the team a chance to make a strong run for the NBA title.
The odds are against Houston, but if Westbrook and Harden find a way to gel well together on the court while getting their other teammates involved, they will be a nightmare for any team that tries to beat them.
