Three free agents the Sacramento Kings should look at

Corey Brewer was a fan favorite in his half-season with the Sacramento Kings last season, could there be a part two?

From the minute Corey Brewer took that insane spill and got up like nothing happened, he became a legend among Sacramento Kings fans. Following the season, Brewer repeatedly doubled down on his desire to return to the Kings, but he’s still a free agent.

If the Sacramento Kings are looking to add somebody for a minimum salary, you could hardly do better than bringing back CB.

His ability to provide a steadying presence on the court and make an impact in limited minutes is impressive, furthermore, he’s a solid defender and was one of Sacramento’s best last season. Cost could be a factor though, as was noted in this article, here. But, long story short, Brewer pocketed a cool $2 million for 24 games of work last season.

With his experience, the veteran minimum is just $2.3 million — only $300,000 more than was he made for a third of the work last season. Is that enough the entice him to return? If it is, the Sacramento Kings should look to bring him back.
