With the Western Conference becoming even more stacked going into the upcoming season, Sacramento Kings’ guard Buddy Hield is up for the challenge.
Although the Sacramento Kings had a great free agency period, so did a lot of teams in the Western Conference. With so much player movement happening in the last week, it has resulted in the already tough West to get even better.
The Kings have themselves quite the challenge next season. Not only will they be competing against tough opponents constantly, due to being in the West, but they will also face tough opponents in their own division as well.
With teams like the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Golden State Warriors who are all title-contending teams at the moment, that is 12 games that the Kings will have on their schedule due to all of them being in their division.
Twelve games against title contenders and that is just the division. For the Kings to finally break their playoff drought next year, it is imperative that they win at least a good portion of those 12 games. It will be quite the challenge, but at least one King is up for the task.
Buddy Speaks Out
Who else is not surprised that Buddy Hield is pumped for this challenge? Once the news came out that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George would be joining the Clippers this upcoming season, Buddy posted this on his Twitter account.

Classic Buddy
This type of behavior is not new for Buddy. Even back in his days with the Oklahoma Sooners, he showcased incredible work ethic and was never fazed by any opponent that he faced. Even with the Kings’ chances of making the postseason next year taking a dip, Buddy does not believe that is the case and is willing to put in the work to make sure the purple and white exceed their goals.
