With the Sacramento Kings changing up their roster for the 2019-20 campaign, they also will be changing up their arsenal of uniforms as well.

The Sacramento Kings have a big season ahead of them. After finishing their 2018-19 season with a record of 39-43, they now have the goal this upcoming season of finally breaking their 13-year playoff drought.

In the last week, the Kings have done a lot in order to put themselves in the best position to become a playoff team. In the recent draft, the purple and white selected three players in which two will be with the team next season. As for free agency, Vlade Divac was able to address every personnel need the team had prior as he brought in five new guys.

Now that the roster has changed for hopefully the better, the transformation did not stop there. During yesterday’s summer league matchup against the Golden State Warriors, the Kings for the first time promoted their new set of uniforms that they will wear next season.

The hardcore Kings fans will remember these threads. In the early 90s, the Kings rocked a road uniform colorway which consisted of red, white, and the base color royal blue. The organization has decided to bring these jerseys back for the current team to wear.

To see a preview of what these uniforms will look like, enjoy the video below. There are also pictures of shooting guard Buddy Hield wearing the jersey too.

Final Thoughts

For the last few years, the Kings have been rocking the powder blue colorway as their alternate uniforms. So seeing now that they are going for the royal blue look is a refreshing sight to see.

Hopefully, with these new threads, the Kings can change their notorious history of missing the playoffs and finally become a team that their counterparts fear.
