Reason #1: Scoring Ability

One of the main qualities that made Justin James great in college was his ability to score points. During his four-year tenure with the Wyoming Cowboys, he averaged around 16 points a contest and averaged as much as 22 points a match in his senior year.

What made James such a bonafide scorer was the various ways he could score. James had the ability to create his own points but was very efficient at moving without the ball in his hands to get himself open. Also, James did a good job in forcing fouls and getting himself to the free-throw line.

For the Kings, adding another versatile scorer to their roster is always a plus. Last season, the Kings did have trouble in finding guys on their roster who can just flat out get a bucket on their own. For James, he proved he has that ability due to his play in the last four years with the Cowboys.

Hopefully, James is able to keep improving his game so he can bring that same scoring efficiency from college to the NBA.
