Player #1: Admiral Schofield

This was a guy that I was shocked that the Kings passed on. During his four seasons with the Tennessee Volunteers, Admiral Schofield was an electrifying player.

For the year, he averaged around 17 points, six rebounds, and two assists per contest and made around 47% of his shots from the court, 42% from the perimeter, and 70% from the free-throw line.

Offensively, Schofield was an efficient scorer as he was able to score in various ways, especially from beyond the perimeter. Schofield not only was able to create points for himself but for his teammates with his ability to occasionally be a playmaker.

Defensively, Schofield did lack athleticism to be a lockdown defender. But with his physicality and motor, he was able to defend and rebound well for his position.

The Kings should have chosen Admiral Schofield over Justin James at #40. To me, Schofield just has a better chance of becoming a two-way player down the road. Also, Schofield is mainly known for the effort his displays on the court, an attractive quality that the Kings and their fans love to see from their players.
