Unfortunately, in most trades Bogdan Bogdanovic would likely have to be shipped out to acquire anyone of value. Still, this one-for-one swap might be perfect for both teams.

Bogdan Bogdanovic had an up-and-down year for the Sacramento Kings last season, but he’s still an important part of this team. He could be even more important for the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns, as we all know, aren’t exactly the epitome of stability or balanced roster construction. Bogdanovic could represent a fresh start for them.

DeAndre Ayton, last year’s first overall pick, is clearly a stud. As is Devin Booker, but the Suns trotted out De’Anthony Melton 31 times in their starting lineup last season, and are in desperate need of a secondary ball-handler. Bogi is exactly that, not to mention the Suns were the team that originally drafted him.

For the Sacramento Kings, T.J. Warren would be a tremendous pick up. While losing Bogi obviously hurts, Warren is a true scorer on the wing — something the Kings lacked last season. He also hit 42% of his three’s last season and can play either small or power forward.

That’s the kind of production of production the Kings need if they want to chase a playoff berth this season, something Warren can seriously help with.

The Kings’ interest in Warren is unknown, but there’s conflicting reports that he is available, and if he is, the Kings would be wise to inquire about him.
