Sacramento Kings: Bogdan Bogdanovic Gets Homecourt Advantage
By Rafe Wong
During this offseason, Sacramento Kings’ Bogdan Bogdanovic received the honor of having his own basketball court made for the people in his hometown.
A few members of the Sacramento Kings have had crazy offseasons so far. Players that have popped up have been Harrison Barnes, Buddy Hield, and De’Aaron Fox who have either visited different countries or have made appearances on national television.
But let us focus now on Bogdan Bogdanovic who has had a good offseason himself. During his time off, Bogdan has spent time in Italy with the National Basketball Players Association and in Turkey to watch his former Euroleague team play.
But in Serbia, Bogdan’s home country, another highlight of his offseason happened as well. Not too long ago in Belgrade, Serbia, Bogdan’s hometown, they opened up a basketball court with a mural design of Bogdan in a Kings uniform for the public to play on.
Thanks to the Sacramento Kings social media team, we are able to see what the court actually looks like.

Bogdan Deserves This Honor
Overall, it is nice to see that Bogdan is being honored by the place he grew up. Not many people can say that their hometown designed a basketball court dedicated to them, but that is the case for Bogdan and it is well deserved.
Bogdanovic has had a successful basketball career so far. During his time in the Euroleague, he was able to play a pivotal part in the success Fenerbahce had during his tenure. And now in the NBA, he has been a key player for the Sacramento Kings since he has joined the squad.
The people in Bogdan’s hometown definitely recognize the hard work he is putting in, and as a result, honoring him with his own basketball court.
Congratulations on the new court, Bogdan! And Kings fans are hoping that you continue to enjoy your offseason!
