With the way De’Aaron Fox has handled himself this offseason, it has put the Sacramento Kings on the map and making them a team to watch for in the next NBA season.
Even though the NBA Finals are still going on, the Sacramento Kings have been in offseason mode since April. During that time, a few of the players have spent their time off in extraordinary fashion.
Some players like Harrison Barnes and Buddy Hield took a trip out of the country to places like India and Italy that the organization documented through their social media accounts. De’Aaron Fox has not spent his offseason out of the states, but the time has been just as exciting.
A lot has been going on for Fox this offseason. Not too long ago, he released his sneaker collaboration with Nike and featured in television shows on Fox Sports and on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Throughout that time, he has made the Kings franchise proud.
Fox Is Marketing The Kings Well
Even though Fox had a breakout sophomore season, a lot of people outside of the Kings community did not watch him or the Kings this season. But with the way Fox has handled himself throughout his offseason festivities, that might change in the near future.
Fox has been awesome this offseason, especially during his times on television. To be specific, his moments on Fox Sports really stood out as he was able to impress others with the way he articulated himself in the interviews he was in. As a result, many from the comment sections of those interview videos expressed their admiration for Fox and how his future is bright.
Some even mentioned they will now keep an eye on Fox and the Kings in the upcoming season.
Final Thoughts
It is no surprise that the Sacramento Kings are not an attractive team to watch in the last couple of years. But with the way Fox has presented himself and the Kings this offseason, he is winning fans with his personality.
Hopefully, De’Aaron is able to win more fans with his on-court play. The Kings have an optimistic season ahead of them as they are making it a mission to finally break their 13-year playoff drought next year.
