Sacramento Kings’ point guard De’Aaron Fox continues his offseason festivities with a recent television appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
The NBA offseason has been exciting for many members of the Sacramento Kings, but one of the players really living it up has been point guard De’Aaron Fox. Just within the last month, Fox has released a sneaker collaboration with Nike, featured in a movie trailer advertising the shoes, and made a television appearance on multiple shows on Fox Sports.
Fox Sinks It On Kimmel
Well, now add the Jimmy Kimmel Show to the list of television appearances Fox has made as he was on the show this last week.
During the episode, Fox and Kimmel competed in a contest called “Sink it or Swim”. In the game, both guys were on dunk tanks where the objective of the game was to dunk the other guy into the water. In order for that to happen, they needed to make a shot into the basketball hoop across from theirs to win the game.
Going into the contest, Fox was to favorite to win, for obvious reasons, and that was exactly what happened. But what made it impressive was how Fox won. You would think that the contest would last at least a few seconds or more, but within the first second, Fox won as he made the first shot he attempted.
Even though Fox won the contest, he was a good sport as he made a shot in his own basket to dunk himself into the water too.
Final Thoughts
There probably is no such thing as a winner in the NBA offseason. But if there was one, De’Aaron Fox would make a strong as the victor. Especially in his television appearances, Fox has handled himself well as he has represented himself and the Kings well with his intellect and charisma off the court.
The Kings made the gamble to draft Fox at the #5 spot in the 2017 draft, and so far, I do not think Vlade Divac and the Kings fanbase have any regrets.
Good luck towards the rest of your offseason, De’Aaron! And good job killing it so far during your time off!
