Even though the Sacramento Kings surprised the NBA world with their play this season, they are still not satisfied with the results.

The Sacramento Kings made a big leap of improvement this season as they jumped up 12 wins in the win column this year compared to last season.

As a result, the purple and white made noise within the NBA world where even the national media was impressed with their fast-paced offense and the youth that was executing that offense.

But even though the Kings have made themselves relevant this season, something that has not been done in years, they are still not content with the results of their campaign. And their actions throughout this offseason have shown it.

The Grind Never Stops

Throughout this offseason, many players from the Kings’ roster have committed their time in Sacramento to workout with the organization’s trainers. Even Harrison Barnes was working a sweat in the gym during his trip to India to promote the NBA.

Players that have been in the Golden 1 Center working out this offseason have been De’Aaron Fox, Nemanja Bjelica, Harry Giles, and more.

Yes, the Kings were great to watch this season, but the work that they are putting in right now is showing that they believe they can (and will) do better when the 2019-2020 season comes along.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it is great to see that the Kings still have the mindset to continue working and getting better in their crafts. Even though they have the option to relax during the offseason.

Next season should be a fun one to watch for Sacramento. After having a breakout season this year, they now have the expectation to not only improve but to finally break their playoff drought that is currently 13 years long.
