Should The Sacramento Kings Take A Chance On Tacko Fall?

Tacko Impresses In Elite Camp
Only eleven players from the G-League Elite camp received an invite to also attend the NBA Draft Combine. Tacko Fall was one who made the grade by showing his defense along with his ability to block shots.
Does Fall have a high basketball IQ? Can he take what the coaching staff teaches him and apply it directly in his game? Tacko’s learning curve better impress the teams scouting him at the NBA Combine. He has a lot to study in a short amount of time. The NBA Combine is a way to increase his chances of playing in the NBA. That said, it is no guarantee that he is taken in the draft.
Experts Predict Where Tacko Goes
Draft predictions have Tacko being picked from the 40th to the 60th spots in the event, or possibly missing the draft and getting signed to a summer-league contract.
Fall is a raw player that will be a project for a couple of years. He must develop a shot beyond just dunking the ball. Tacko was considered a novelty player in his early college years. After a good showing in his senior season and March Madness tournament has increased the possibility of him getting drafted.
Fall could be worth the risk for a team with multiple second-round picks like the Kings. The G- League will allow him time to work on his game and let a team watch his progress to see if he does have a realistic chance to play in the NBA.
