If the Sacramento Kings decide to trade into the first round, they could target these players depending on where they move up to.

The Sacramento Kings severely lack draft capital this season after they traded the rights to their first-round pick back in July of 2015. They do, however, have three second-round picks to work with.

The Sacramento Kings could (and should) use the little draft commodities they do have to try and trade up, but whether that happens or not is still up for speculation. They could stand pat and select three second-round players to stash away in the G-League or overseas, or they could be proactive and make moves to get them back into the first round.

More. Closing the book on the disastrous trade in 2015. light

Taking three second round players might not be what the team wants to do, especially as they look to add NBA-ready talent to add to a team that hopes to make a playoff run next season. They could stand pat and draft players who are still overseas (like what happened with Bogdan Bogdanovic) or target a player who’s likely to fall because of injuries (Jontay Porter, anyone?), but either way the later the pick — the less chance there is of an NBA-level talent being available.

Using the three trade ideas cooked up by Site-Expert Jonathan Roberts, I’ve identified three players that the Kings could potentially target if they do make a move to trade up.
