See where the Sacramento Kings stacked up amongst their counterparts on Las Vegas’ recent list of every teams’ odds of winning the 2019-20 NBA championship.

Even though the 2019 NBA playoffs are in full session, Las Vegas recently posted their thoughts on every teams’ odds of winning the NBA championship next year.

Usually every year, the Sacramento Kings are on the bottom of the list. But with the team making a leap of improvement this season, there is the possibility that it could change this time around.

Well, it actually did.

Las Vegas Is Liking The Kings, Sort Of

When Las Vegas released their odds of every team’s chances of winning it all, there were some notes that were obvious. For one, the Golden Warriors were the favorites to win (surprise, surprise), as well as the Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks being on top of the list as well.

Some shockers on the list were that the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers were in the three and four spots on the list and that the Kings were tied for the 20th best chance to win the title. Yes, Sacramento’s chances of actually getting a ring next season are still low, but considering they are usually in the basement of the NBA, they are making strides.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Kings are starting to earn respect from others outside of Sacramento and for good reason. Behind the rise of their young talent, they are a team on the rise and are on a mission to eventually become NBA champions one day.
