This article will showcase three wing players that the Sacramento Kings should consider in the second round of the upcoming NBA Draft.

The Sacramento Kings’ season ended back in April which means they have been in full offseason mode since. The next step to the Kings’ summer is scouting college and international prospects as the NBA Draft will begin in the middle of June.

Unfortunately, the Kings at the moment do not have a pick in the first round. They were originally projected to draft at the 14th spot in the order but had to surrender the pick to the Boston Celtics due to the ramifications of a past trade the purple and white made back in 2015.

But with that said, the Kings still have work to do. Even with no pick in the first round, Vlade Divac and company still have three picks in the draft, but all in the second round. The overall picks are at the 40th, 47th, and 60th spots.

The chances of the Kings landing an asset in the draft are lower due to not having an earlier pick, but that does mean it is impossible to find some hidden gems in the spots they are drafting at.

Every year, there are always solid talents that get selected in the second round, or even go undrafted. And in my opinion, there are definitely some of those guys in this year’s draft that are projected to get picked in the second round that the Kings could select.

So with that being said, enjoy this slideshow which will show three wing players/forwards that I think the Kings could and should select if they are available when Vlade is on the clock.
