Player #3: Marvin Bagley III
With the way Marvin Bagley III played in his rookie season, it gave the Kings fans hope. For the Kings to reach their goal of becoming a championship contender, they need to eventually acquire star talents to their roster. Marvin has a good chance of being one of those stars.
In the 62 games that Bagley appeared in this year, he averaged around 15 points and eight rebounds a game while making over 50% of his shots from the floor. Not only were the statistics good for Bagley, but the effort and energy he displayed in games was electrifying for anyone that witnessed him.
Whenever Dave Joerger called for Bagley to enter the game, Kings fans were excited to see what he had in store that night. Overall, Marvin showed this season that he has the makings of becoming an important piece to the Kings’ young core, and maybe even an NBA superstar. Not only was he one of the more thrilling players to watch from the purple and white this season, but he will continue to be so for years to come.
