The Solution For Bogdan Bogdanovic?

In my opinion, the biggest issue for Bogdanovic this season was that he settled too much for the jump shot. In his rookie year, I thought that Bogdan drove more to the basket which resulted in him getting better shot attempts, more opportunities to set up teammates for scores, and getting himself to the free-throw line.

When analyzing him this season,  I saw a lot more of him dribbling the ball on the perimeter and settling for shots that had a lesser chance of going into the basket.

Theory On Bogdan’s Lack Of Driving

A possible theory why I think Bogdan settled more for the jump shot was because of a knee injury he suffered prior to the 2018-19 season. When Bogdan was playing with the Serbian national team last summer, he suffered a knee injury that had him out for the beginning stage of the 2018-19 season.

Not only did Bogdan not drive enough to the basket this season, but his ability to cut to the basket did not look as smooth as it did during his rookie season. I am not saying that his health was the main reason for his setbacks this season, but it could have played a part in it?
