Did Nike and Sacramento Kings’ guard De’Aaron Fox collaborate a sneaker that will be available in stores soon?

After having a dynamite sophomore season, Sacramento Kings’ point guard De’Aaron Fox is now considered one of the young stars in the NBA. With that said, the sudden rise of popularity now has him attracting attention from others outside of the sport of basketball.

What I mean by this is sudden news has risen pertaining to Fox and the corporation Nike. Not too long ago, De’Aaron posted on his social media pages a picture of custom-made shoes (most likely designed by him) with the caption “Air Max 1 “Swipa” May 31st”.

Obviously, this tweet is showing that Fox has designed a shoe with Nike, which most professional athletes have the luxury to do so. But what is different about this is that his shoes might be available for the public to buy. Something that does not happen often.

Analyzing The Air Max 1 “Swipa”

The model for Fox’s sneakers is the Nike Air Max 1, one of the classic silhouettes that Nike has made through its history. What is not classic about these sneakers is that each shoe has its own colorway.

Both sneakers have black as its main color, but the left shoe has elements of maroon and sky blue while the right shoe has touches of burnt orange and aqua blue. Each has Fox’s number logo on the tongue and his nickname “Swipa” on the back with gold lettering.

Final Thoughts

Overall, it is cool to see that one of Sacramento’s finest has a shoe collaboration complete with a well-known brand like Nike. Hopefully, these shoes will be available for Kings fans to buy as I am sure they would love to rock these sneakers in support of their star point guard.
