Sacramento Kings’ forward Harrison Barnes is currently in India to promote the team and the National Basketball Association.
The newly acquired Harrison Barnes has only played in 28 games for the Sacramento Kings, and yet, he already has scored a free trip to India.
Not too long ago, the Sacramento Kings’ social media team posted an article saying that the seven-year veteran is off to India to help promote the sport of basketball and the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the country of India.
The trip for Barnes will have him visiting multiple places around the country, which include the cities of Delhi and Mumbai. Here is what the Kings’ small forward had to say about the trip.
"“This trip to India will be a great opportunity for me to get a sneak peek of the local culture before the upcoming preseason games in Mumbai this October,” said Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes. “I look forward to being a part of that historic event and I’m excited to help support the NBA’s various basketball development initiatives in India.” -Harrison Barnes"

Final Thoughts
Overall, it is great to see Harrison in India promoting the NBA, and of course, the purple and white. The Kings will be playing in India for a couple of preseason games this October, so this trip will help Harrison get acquainted with the country when that time comes.
Have a fun and safe trip, Harrison! And we hope to see you return to Sacramento soon!
