Where Does Fox Stand?

Ok, so now that we have analyzed the contenders for the NBA’s most improved, the question now has to be asked where De’Aaron Fox stands amongst the list? Although I do think Fox has a legit shot at winning the award, I do not think he will.

For this award, I have Fox placed at third as players like Pascal Siakam and Paul Geroge are ahead of him. Overall, I have Siakam winning the award.

Although George did not make as dramatic of a statistic jump as Fox, I did think his season was more impressive due to making a leap from star player to MVP candidate. As for Siakam, I thought he had the most impressive season as he made the biggest improvement statistically and has been one of the main reasons why the Toronto Raptors are a powerhouse team in the Eastern Conference.

Overall, De’Aaron Fox will probably be just short of winning the Most Improved Player Award this season, but that is no reason to be disappointed. Prior to the 2018-19 season, there was a concern within the NBA community whether Fox could become a star point guard after having a mediocre rookie season.

Also. Should The Kings Re-sign Corey Brewer?. light

Now that his sophomore campaign is over, Fox has proven to the world that he is one of the best players in his draft class and has given Kings fans hope for a brighter future ahead.
