Reason #2: What Is The Better Option?

Honestly, if the Kings did part ways with Dave Joerger, what is the better alternative? Luke Walton? No thank you.

In my opinion, it would not be the worst thing if the Kings did decide to let Joerger go. But that is only the case if they can bring in a person that is unquestionably better.

When looking at the market for head coaches, there is not anyone who I think is definitely a better (and realistic) option than Joerger. It just seems too much of a risk for the Kings to let him go in the low chance that they can get someone better in return.

Like I mentioned in the last slide, I think Joerger has done a good job as the Kings’ head coach during his tenure. The Kings should let him at the very least coach the squad for another season to see if they can build on what was a promising season this year.
