Dave Joerger’s future with the Sacramento Kings is still up in the air. But here are my three reasons for why letting him go would be a mistake.

The Sacramento Kings had a great 2018-19 campaign considering the expectations that were given to them to begin the year. A team that was projected to win around 20-30 games for the season ended up with a 39-43 record and the ninth seed in the tough Western Conference.

Hey, even the national media started to pay attention to the young Kings and have given Sacramento their respect for the job they have done during the team’s rebuild.

But even though the future looks bright for the purple and white, a lot of work still needs to be done before they can say the rebuild is a success.

Some tough decisions are ahead for Vivek Ranadive and company, one of those decisions being who the head coach will be for the Kings going forth.

Right now, the current head coach for the Kings is Dave Joerger who has held the position since the 2016-17 season. But recent news has speculated that Joerger’s future with the franchise is not so concrete.

It will be interesting to see what the Kings decide to do with the head coaching spot heading in the future.

So with that being said, enjoy this slideshow which will showcase my three reasons for why Dave Joerger should remain the leader for the Sacramento Kings.
