It has been a painful stretch for the Sacramento Kings as their 2018-19 campaign is about to end.

Although the Sacramento Kings have been a pleasant surprise this NBA season, the campaign cannot end soon enough.

It has been a tough last stage for the Kings. The purple and white saw their playoff hopes die as they fell to the Houston Rockets last week, and now they are losing some of their key guys due to injury.

It started with the beloved Harry Giles when he suffered a thigh bruise when the Kings played the Dallas Mavericks at the end of March. Now Sacramento’s leader in De’Aaron Fox is hurt as he experienced foot pains from the likes of Grayson Allen. Even Kosta Koufos had discomfort in his calf which took him out of the Jazz contest as well.

And do we even have to mention Corey Brewer’s near-death experience?

What Should Dave Joerger Do?

As fellow Kings are ailing with just two games left in the regular season, the question needs to be asked whether Dave Joerger should be throwing in the towel and sitting his main guys?

With the team having nothing to play for, it would make sense to rest the Kings’ main rotation. But in my opinion, let the guys play if they are completely healthy.

If Fox feels he is healthy enough to play, he should play. If Kosta feels the same, he should play. Even with playoffs out of the picture, the Kings should still try to win as many games as they can. Give the guys more experience as they aim to reach a .500 record for the first time since the Rick Adelman days.

light. More. Marvin Bagley Continues To Dominate

The Kings have endured a tough stretch to end the season, but there is still a chance that they can conclude it with a bang.
