Not only are the youngsters for the Sacramento Kings’ trying to win for their organization, but the community that supports them as well.

The mutual love between the Sacramento Kings’ fanbase and their players is legit. Even back when the team was losing and were the joke of the NBA, their community always found the brighter side of things and backed them up.

After over a decade of suffering from the fanbase, the current players of the purple and white have noticed their pain and are doing everything they can to make sure their team is something that their fans can be proud of.

And so far, they are on the right track!

Players Show Their Appreciation

Not only have the Kings been playing better basketball, but throughout this season, players like De’Aaron Fox, Harry Giles, and more have constantly shown their appreciation for the city of Sacramento and their fans.

It started with Fox posting an article and video on The Players’ Tribune this summer expressing how Sacramento is more than just a “farm town”, and that they are an amazing community to play for.

The love kept going as the two rookies in Giles and Marvin Bagley III have constantly mentioned how the energy of Kings’ fans have electrified them and the team.

Final Thoughts

For the last few years, the Sacramento Kings have gained a bad reputation for being a franchise that players would want to steer away from. So now knowing that the team is on the rise and has young and exciting players that embrace the city must be reassuring for the fanbase.
