The playoffs may be out of reach, but there’s still plenty of storylines following the Sacramento Kings as the season comes to a close.

Reality can often be saddening, and that’s certainly the case as the reality of the Sacramento Kings not making the 2018-19 playoffs — despite and incredible season — slowly starts to set in. Still, there’s plenty to watch for over the final weeks of the 2018-19 season.

While the obvious things to watch for — Fox’s continues development, Harrison Barnes’ fit with the team and Harry Giles’ development to name a few — remain in place as the season closes, there’s a few other things fans should be watching for that may not be so obvious.

Most know Buddy Hield is closing in on Sacramento Kings history, but will he get there? And if he does, when? How high will he set the bar? You’ve also got questions surrounding the fit between Harry Giles and Marvin Bagley, two young players who haven’t shared the court often, and haven’t exactly lit the world on fire when they have. You’ve also got questions swirling around the future of Willie Cauley-Stein, but could the final weeks give clues on what the organization will do with the soon-to-be free agent?
