The Sacramento Kings’ chances of beating the Boston Celtics tonight just got stronger with their latest news in their injury report.

The Sacramento Kings lost a heartbreaker last week when they played against the Boston Celtics, losing by a score of 111-109. But they have the chance to redeem themselves as they play the Celtics again tonight. And even though the purple and white will be in Boston this time around, they will enter the match with a stronger roster.

Sacramento received wonderful news this morning. According to various sources, the Kings’ star rookie Marvin Bagley III is scheduled to play tonight after missing five games due to recovering from a knee injury he suffered against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Bagley’s Impact With The Kings

Overall, it is great to hear that Bagley is healthy and will be returning back to action tonight. Whether he came off the bench or was a part of the starting lineup, Bagley has shown to be an asset with the Kings as he is one of the team’s better scorers, rebounders, and shot blockers.

For the year, Bagley is averaging around 14 points and seven rebounds a contest while making 50% of his shots from the court.

Final Thoughts

Since Bagley went down, the Kings have lost ground in the playoff race as they have only won twice in their last five games. So adding Marvin back to the rotation will surely improve the Kings going forth and tonight as they have a hefty task of trying to defeat the Celtics in the TD Garden.

Good luck tonight on your return to basketball, Marvin. And oh yeah, Happy 20th Birthday!
