The Sacramento Kings have made it public that their star rookie Marvin Bagley III is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s contest against the Boston Celtics.
The Sacramento Kings have endured a lot of pain as of late as they recently have lost ground in the playoff race. But they possibly have good news coming their way due to their latest injury report.
For the past couple of weeks, Sacramento’s prized rookie Marvin Bagley III has been sidelined due to a knee injury that he suffered when the Kings played against the Milwaukee Bucks. But according to Sean Cunningham, Kings reporter, Bagley is now listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game.
Kings Get Their Scorer back?
For the Kings, this is absolutely good news. One of the main reasons why the purple and white have been losing close games recently is due to their lack of execution on offense in critical times.
Sure, the Kings have players like Buddy Hield, De’Aaron Fox, and Bogdan Bogdanovic who can get the team rolling on offense, but adding Bagley to the mix makes the Kings’ offense so much better due to his ability to score efficiently and get his own bucket. So if he is able to come back tomorrow, it will definitely help the Kings’ chances in beating the loaded Celtics squad.
In his 47 games, Bagley has been one of the Kings’ top scorers as he is averaging around 14 points a night while making over 50% of his shots from the floor. The 19-year old is also grabbing over seven rebounds a game and is the leader in PER (Player Efficiency Rating) amongst his teammates with an 18.24.
