The Sacramento Kings need to play well as their next couple of games will be against tough opponents.

With every game being crucial for the Sacramento Kings’ chances to play in the postseason, they will need to secure some wins against a slew of top teams coming up in their schedule.

Let us check out those games.

The Bucks Are In Town

The Kings’ next game will be against the Milwaukee Bucks who are currently the best team in the NBA.  With Giannis Antetokounmpo playing at an All-Star level, the purple and white have to play mistake-free basketball for the whole game. The Bucks are a tough opponent who are on a mission this season to make a run at the title with coach Mike Budenholzer calling the shots.

Milwaukee is currently a deep team. With the addition of Giannis, their frontcourt consists of guys like Nikola Mirotic, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez.  As for their backcourt, they have Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon running the reigns.

With a loaded roster who can play good basketball on both ends of the court, the Bucks will definitely be a tough match for the Kings this Wednesday. Can the Golden 1 crowd help their Kings pull off the upset?

Kings Face Must-Win Game Against The Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers hold the seventh seed in the playoff chase. Sacramento is hovering around the ninth spot. If the Kings can pull out the victory this upcoming Friday, it will give them a major boost in the standings.

No question that this contest is a must-win for the Kings. A loss would certainly give them a major setback to their hopes of contending in the playoffs. The Clipper players do not care about a lottery pick as they are professionals who compete to win. A full-fledged tank will not happen.

Even though Los Angeles’ star player in Tobias Harris is gone, they still have a good roster. Players that the Clippers have relied on all season have been Sweet Lou Williams, Danilo Gallinari, and Montrezl Harrell.  They even acquired a veteran and defensive presence in Garrett Temple who brings valuable leadership and knowledge to their squad.

So far this season, the Clippers have had the Kings’ number. That needs to change once Friday night comes around.

Final Thoughts

With 22 games left for the Kings this season, they are still in the hunt for a playoff berth. Going forward, every game for the purple and white is crucial, especially their next couple of games.

It is expected that the Kings will fall to the Bucks, so the Clippers matchup is the one that they must win. If the Kings can end up splitting their next two games, it would be big for them going forward. Two wins are ideal, but realistically, one game is good enough. Especially if it is the game against the Clippers.
